Welcome to La Favela Stays (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our services, bookings, communications, and any related digital platforms operated by us.

By making a booking, using our services, or contacting us for accommodation arrangements, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.


1. About Us

La Favela Stays is a hospitality and accommodation service provider offering homestays, vacation rentals, short-stay accommodations, and curated stay experiences across multiple cities and destinations, including Delhi, Uttarakhand, Jaipur, and other locations.

2. Eligibility to Book

By booking with La Favela Stays, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • All information provided by you is true, accurate, and complete
  • You are authorized to make the booking for yourself and/or for all guests included in the reservation

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings if false, incomplete, or misleading information is provided.


3. Booking Confirmation

A booking shall be considered confirmed only when:

  • Required booking details are submitted
  • Payment (full or partial, as applicable) is successfully received
  • A booking confirmation is issued by La Favela Stays via call, WhatsApp, email, SMS, or other official communication channels

Until confirmation is shared, availability is subject to change.


4. Pricing and Payments

  • All prices are subject to availability and may change without prior notice until the booking is confirmed
  • The total booking amount may include stay charges, applicable taxes, cleaning fees, security deposits, or other additional charges (if applicable)
  • Payment may be collected in full or partially, depending on the property and booking terms
  • All payments must be made through approved payment methods communicated by La Favela Stays
  • A booking may be cancelled or placed on hold if payment is not received within the specified timeline

La Favela Stays reserves the right to correct pricing errors, typographical mistakes, or accidental listing discrepancies.


5. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in and check-out timings may vary depending on the property booked.

General Guidelines:

  • Standard Check-In: As communicated at the time of booking
  • Standard Check-Out: As communicated at the time of booking
  • Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may attract additional charges
  • Guests must comply with the property’s check-in procedure and timing rules

Failure to check out on time may result in additional charges.


6. Guest Verification and ID Requirements

For security, legal, and operational purposes, all guests may be required to provide:

  • Valid government-issued photo ID
  • Address proof (if required by the property or local authority)
  • Additional guest information as required by local regulations or host policies

Accepted IDs may include Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter ID, or any other officially valid document.

La Favela Stays reserves the right to deny check-in if valid identification is not provided.


7. Property Rules / House Rules

Each homestay or property may have specific house rules. By booking, guests agree to comply with all applicable rules, including but not limited to:

  • No illegal activities on the premises
  • No damage to furniture, fixtures, appliances, or property assets
  • No nuisance, disturbance, or disruptive behavior toward neighbors, caretakers, or hosts
  • No unauthorized extra guests beyond the number confirmed in the booking
  • No parties, loud music, or events unless explicitly permitted
  • No smoking inside the property unless specifically allowed
  • Pets are only allowed where explicitly approved
  • Guests must maintain cleanliness and basic care of the property

Violation of house rules may lead to:

  • Immediate cancellation of stay without refund
  • Additional penalties or damage charges
  • Involvement of local authorities if necessary

8. Use of Property

Guests may use the property only for lawful residential stay purposes.

The following are strictly prohibited unless expressly approved in writing:

  • Commercial shoots
  • Parties or gatherings
  • Illegal or unlawful activities
  • Use of the property for business operations or events
  • Any activity that may damage the property or disturb the neighborhood

9. Security Deposit / Damage Charges

Certain properties may require a refundable or non-refundable security deposit, which will be communicated before or during booking.

Guests shall be responsible for:

  • Any loss or damage caused to the property
  • Missing items, broken fixtures, or damaged furnishings
  • Excessive cleaning requirements beyond normal use
  • Any penalties imposed by the host, society, or property management due to guest misconduct

La Favela Stays reserves the right to deduct applicable charges from the security deposit or recover the amount separately.


10. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund eligibility shall be governed by the specific cancellation policy applicable to the booked property or package, as communicated at the time of booking.

Please note:

  • Refund timelines may vary depending on the payment method and banking process
  • Some bookings may be non-refundable or partially refundable
  • Convenience fees, taxes, platform fees, or third-party charges may be non-refundable in certain cases
  • Last-minute cancellations may attract full or partial retention charges

Guests are advised to carefully review the cancellation terms before confirming the booking.


11. Changes, Modifications, or Rescheduling

Requests for changes such as:

  • Date changes
  • Guest count changes
  • Property changes
  • Stay extension or reduction

shall be subject to:

  • Availability
  • Applicable price difference
  • Property rules
  • Approval by La Favela Stays and/or the host

We do not guarantee that modification requests can always be accommodated.


12. No-Show Policy

If a guest fails to arrive at the property on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice or approved rescheduling, the booking may be treated as a No-Show.

In such cases:

  • The booking may be cancelled automatically
  • Refunds may not be applicable, depending on the booking terms
  • The property may be released for other guests

13. Force Majeure

La Favela Stays shall not be held liable for any delay, cancellation, interruption, or inability to provide services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods, landslides, storms, earthquakes
  • Government restrictions or lockdowns
  • Strikes or labor disputes
  • Political unrest or civil disturbances
  • Epidemics or pandemics
  • Utility failures, road closures, or transportation disruptions

In such cases, refund or rescheduling decisions may be made at our sole discretion or as per host/property policy.


14. Third-Party Property Partners

La Favela Stays may list, manage, or facilitate bookings for properties owned or operated by third-party hosts, property owners, caretakers, or hospitality partners.

While we make reasonable efforts to ensure quality and accuracy, we do not guarantee:

  • Continuous availability of every property
  • Exact similarity to photographs in all cases
  • Uninterrupted utilities or external environmental conditions
  • Availability of services controlled by third parties

Guests acknowledge that certain aspects of the stay may depend on the property owner or local conditions.


15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, La Favela Stays shall not be liable for:

  • Personal injury, accident, illness, or loss suffered during the stay
  • Loss, theft, or damage of guest belongings
  • Inconvenience caused by weather, power cuts, internet issues, road conditions, or local disturbances
  • Actions, omissions, or negligence of third-party hosts, service providers, or guests
  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Guests are advised to take reasonable precautions and secure their valuables at all times.


16. Guest Conduct and Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse service or deny check-in
  • Cancel a booking without refund
  • Remove a guest from the property

if a guest:

  • Violates house rules
  • Engages in abusive, threatening, illegal, or unsafe conduct
  • Provides false information
  • Causes damage or disturbance
  • Fails to comply with property or legal requirements

17. Communications

By making a booking or contacting us, you consent to receive communications from La Favela Stays via:

  • Phone calls
  • WhatsApp
  • SMS
  • Email
  • Other reasonable communication channels

These communications may include:

  • Booking confirmations
  • Payment reminders
  • Check-in instructions
  • Service updates
  • Support responses
  • Promotional messages (if opted in)

You may opt out of promotional communications, but transactional messages related to your booking may still be sent.


18. Intellectual Property

All branding, content, text, logos, designs, images, and promotional materials used by La Favela Stays are the intellectual property of La Favela Stays or its licensors, unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use our materials for commercial purposes without prior written permission.


19. Privacy

Your use of our services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.


20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, bookings, or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.


21. Changes to These Terms

La Favela Stays reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Updated versions will become effective once published or communicated. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
