By making a booking with La Favela Stays, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Booking Policy.


1. About La Favela Stays

La Favela Stays provides homestays, vacation rentals, short-stay accommodations, and curated stay experiences across multiple cities and destinations, including Delhi, Uttarakhand, Jaipur, and other locations.

2. Booking Confirmation

A booking shall be considered confirmed only when:

  • The guest provides complete and accurate booking details
  • The required payment (full or partial, as applicable) is successfully received
  • A confirmation is shared by La Favela Stays via call, WhatsApp, email, SMS, or any official communication channel

Until confirmation is issued, the booking shall remain subject to availability and shall not be treated as guaranteed.


3. Information Required for Booking

To complete a reservation, guests may be required to provide:

  • Full name
  • Mobile number
  • Email address
  • Number of guests
  • Check-in and check-out dates
  • Preferred property or destination
  • Special requests (if any)
  • Valid government-issued ID details (before or at check-in, if required)

Guests are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is accurate and complete.


4. Payment Terms

  • Bookings may require full payment or partial advance payment, depending on the property and booking type
  • The applicable payment requirement shall be communicated at the time of booking
  • The booking will only be confirmed after successful receipt of the required amount
  • Failure to make payment within the specified time may result in automatic cancellation or release of the booking slot
  • Any balance payment, if applicable, must be paid as per the timeline communicated by La Favela Stays

5. Pricing and Availability

  • All prices are subject to availability and may change until the booking is confirmed
  • Rates may vary depending on season, dates, occupancy, special events, weekends, holidays, or property demand
  • La Favela Stays reserves the right to update pricing, availability, or listing details without prior notice until confirmation is issued
  • Once confirmed, the booking price shall remain fixed unless modified by the guest or due to add-on services

6. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in and check-out timings may vary by property and shall be communicated at the time of booking.

General Guidelines:

  • Check-in and check-out shall be strictly as per the property schedule
  • Early check-in is subject to availability and may attract additional charges
  • Late check-out is subject to availability and may attract additional charges
  • Unauthorized late check-out may result in penalty charges or an additional night’s charge

Guests must follow the check-in and check-out instructions shared by La Favela Stays or the host/property manager.


7. Guest Verification and ID Requirements

For safety, legal compliance, and operational reasons, all guests may be required to provide:

  • Valid government-issued photo identification
  • Additional guest details as required by local regulations, property owners, or housing society rules

Accepted IDs may include:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • Passport
  • Driving License
  • Voter ID
  • Any other officially valid document

La Favela Stays reserves the right to deny check-in if valid identification is not provided.


8. Occupancy Policy

  • Only the number of guests confirmed at the time of booking shall be permitted to stay at the property
  • Additional or unregistered guests are not allowed unless prior written approval is obtained
  • Extra guest charges may apply where permitted
  • Over-occupancy may result in denial of entry, additional charges, or cancellation of the stay without refund

9. Property Allocation

  • Bookings are subject to the availability of the selected property
  • In rare cases, if the originally booked property becomes unavailable due to operational, maintenance, or unavoidable reasons, La Favela Stays may offer:
    • An alternate property of similar category (subject to availability), or
    • Rescheduling options, or
    • Refund, if applicable as per the circumstances

La Favela Stays reserves the right to make such adjustments where necessary for operational reasons.


10. Changes to Booking

Requests for changes, including but not limited to:

  • Change of dates
  • Change in number of guests
  • Change of property
  • Extension or reduction of stay

shall be:

  • Subject to availability
  • Subject to approval by La Favela Stays
  • Subject to host/property partner approval
  • Subject to revised pricing, if applicable

Modification requests are not guaranteed and may be declined based on operational feasibility.


11. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund requests shall be governed by the applicable Cancellation & Refund Policy of La Favela Stays.

Current Standard Policy:

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before check-in may be eligible for refund
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable

Guests are advised to review the cancellation policy carefully before making payment.


12. No-Show Policy

If the guest fails to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior approved communication:

  • The booking may be treated as a No-Show
  • The property may be released
  • The booking amount may be forfeited
  • No refund may be applicable as per the cancellation policy

13. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to:

  • Provide accurate booking information
  • Arrive within the check-in time or inform in advance
  • Carry valid ID documents
  • Follow all property-specific rules
  • Respect the property, staff, neighbors, and local regulations
  • Use the premises only for lawful residential stay purposes
  • Avoid causing any disturbance, damage, or inconvenience

Failure to comply may lead to cancellation, refusal of check-in, or additional charges.


14. Special Requests

Any special requests, including but not limited to:

  • Early check-in
  • Late check-out
  • Specific room preferences
  • Additional bedding
  • Decor arrangements
  • Meal preferences
  • Pet requests

shall be subject to:

  • Availability
  • Property rules
  • Additional charges, if applicable
  • Approval by La Favela Stays and/or the property host

Special requests are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed.


15. Third-Party Property Partners

La Favela Stays may facilitate bookings for properties owned, managed, or operated by third-party hosts, caretakers, or property partners.

While we make reasonable efforts to ensure quality and accuracy, certain aspects of the stay may depend on the property owner, local conditions, or third-party services.


16. Right to Refuse or Cancel Booking

La Favela Stays reserves the right to refuse, reject, or cancel any booking at its sole discretion in cases including but not limited to:

  • Incomplete or false information
  • Suspicious or fraudulent activity
  • Non-payment or failed payment
  • Violation of booking rules
  • Safety or security concerns
  • Unavailability of the property
  • Legal or regulatory restrictions
  • Operational reasons beyond our control

Where applicable, refunds or alternatives shall be handled as per the circumstances and applicable policies.


17. Communication Policy

By making a booking or inquiry, you consent to receive communication from La Favela Stays through:

  • Phone calls
  • WhatsApp
  • SMS
  • Email
  • Other official communication channels

These communications may include:

  • Booking confirmations
  • Payment reminders
  • Check-in details
  • Support assistance
  • Service updates
  • Promotional messages (if opted in)

18. Limitation of Liability

La Favela Stays shall not be liable for:

  • Delays caused by travel disruptions
  • Guest inability to reach the property
  • Loss or theft of personal belongings
  • Utility interruptions beyond reasonable control
  • Weather-related inconvenience
  • Third-party service failures
  • Guest negligence or misconduct

Guests are advised to secure valuables and plan travel responsibly.


19. Policy Acceptance

By making a booking or payment with La Favela Stays, you expressly agree to this Booking Policy and all related policies, including:
